To be or not to be, that is the question?
Weither it is nobler in the mind,
To suffer the slings and arows or outrageuos fortune.
or to rise up agianst a sea or troubles,
and by doing so to die, to sleep.

And it was called "Deus Ex", I reckon, from the Latin phrase "deus ex machina". Which means you should pronounce "Deus Ex" like you'd pronounce it in Latin (or Italian, for that matter). *shrug*

Yup, Deus Ex is certainly Latin. And as such, it's pronounced as "Deh-oos Ex" - and that means no 'y'-s in there. :)
And I guess the refference od "deux ex machina", ie., a god from a machine, basically a Greek drama element where an unsolvable situation gets solved by one person and gets a possibly unopredictable twist and ending, is quite in order here.
