I'm currently working on a new mansion mission. In about a month I got most of the major architecture done, and now I'm working on details.

After a break of 3 years with no Dromed (due to life as university student) I'm working on a new German medieval city style map for Thief 2. I feel a bit rusty with Dromed but I hope to remember all i used to know with time. Pity there was no upgrade of NewDark in the meantime, probably the V.1.27 is the last and definitive update. But perhaps I've missed other new features for Dromed brought by our community.

Thank you for this new information and the provided links. Apparently I have much to catch up...

I'm currently working on a new mansion mission. The mission will take place during a thunderstorm, so you will see lightning inside as well as outside the mansion.

If the lightning's inside you have bigger problems than a thief skulking about. :joke:
Actually, you could create the illusion of lightning hitting the house and causing damage. From the outside there could be some tower/rooftop etc, with objects making it look intact, then a scripted thing happens when the player is inside, removing those objects and creating some debris. The remaining terrain (hole in the roof etc) could present a nice climbing opportunity.

That sounds like a good idea. I have a dome window above the main stair case and a skylight above the study, so I might be able to work that in. As it is, there is no way to reach the roof so this looks to get a good opportunity for the player to access something up there. Thanks for the tip!
Actually the lightning inside reminds me of the Sylvester and Rweety cartoon where Sylvester created a storm inside his house! :joke:
