Nice ! You used the moneybox for this trick ? This is very original, I like the idea !
Good find !

Highly inefficient at DromEd I may be, but by cracky I can stuff one object into another object with the best of 'em! This is an attempt at a lootable drawer by the way.
Why not look at what I did in Finals at the Academy. Drawers open and you con loot them.

Indeed, this is also a cool system ! But this one found by purgator is very interesting because it use stock ressources only which is a very cool trick to use for the Thief Anniversary Contest ! :)

Purgator: that's neat!
For some extra fun, try:
1. Add these properties to the moneybox "drawers":
Code:
Joint Positions:
Joint 1: 180.00
Tweq Joints:
Joint1 rate-low-high: 0, 180, 180
Scripts:
Script 0: Drawer
2. Load squirrel.osm, and drop this code in a .nut file:
Code:
class Drawer extends SqRootScript
{
function OnFrobWorldEnd() {
local distance = vector(0, -0.5, 0);
if (! IsDataSet("Searched")) {
SetData("Searched", true);
Object.Teleport(self, distance, vector(), self);
} else {
ClearData("Searched");
Object.Teleport(self, -distance, vector(), self);
}
}
}
:D

And how can you place the main furniture in the world with the sub drawers already attached? Do you do detail attachment links with the concrete objects? If so I wonder if it will effect the script.

No, the script should still run fine and all of this could be set up in the hierarchy where all you have to do is add the loot and the Contains link. I also have openable drawers with lootable contents inside them in both Off The Record and Waterfront Racket if anyone wants to look at it.

By all means!
The most important thing is I sampled colours from an actual photo of a dusk sky, rather than trying to make them up myself. So they're much subtler and more realistic than whatever gaudy nonsense my brain would've produced. The other crucial bit is using the Glow settings for the post-sunset orangey glow in the west.
The actual settings:
NewSky: DistantArt* Enable Distant Art: on
* Enable Fog: off
* Texture #1: dismist1.tga
* Texture #2: dismist2.tga
* Color: 23, 12, 11
* Distance: 1000
* Top latitude: 85
* Bottom latitude: 101
* # of panels: 32
* # of panels/texture: 4
* Alpha: 0.95 (so it picks up just a hint of colour from the sky)
NewSky: Sky* Enable New Sky: on
* Enable Fog: off
* Atmosphere radius: 55000
* Earth radius: 50000
* # latitude points: 6
* # longitude points: 24
* Horizon dip angle: 100
* Pole color: 44, 46, 48
* 45 degree color: 37, 39, 41
* 70 degree color: 27, 29, 33
* Horizon color: 23, 12, 11
* Horizon dip color: 0, 0, 0 (this is chosen to blend in with the Distant Art)
* Glow color: 69, 46, 22
* Glow latitude: 110
* Glow longitude: 285
* Glow angle: 140
* Glow scale: 0.8
* Glow method: Interpolate
* Clip latitude: 0
NewSky: Stars* Enable Stars: on
* Enable Fog: off
* Star density: 0.8
* Star offset: 0
* Max sky intensity: 1 (Should be able to tweak this to get stars appearing brighter where the sky is darker, but I couldn't make it work properly yet)
* Global transparency: 0.25 (So I used this to make all the stars a little dimmer instead)
Edit: If anyone wants to use this sky in their missions, go ahead. I believe it's not allowed for the TDP anniversary contest, and the second mission I'm planning to make, although T2, can't use a proper sky for reasons. So I'm not going to be able to use this sky in anything soon regardless.

I did a little mounting in order to train myself at creating custom custscene and did this short demo.
[video=youtube;XYyrvPKT-pA]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYyrvPKT-pA[/video]
The fan-art used to make this little mounting was made by Whale Oil, a Thief fan and an artist.
Check his blog if you want to see more from him : (

I must say that creating such a demo was not easy but not that hard and I enjoyed it a lot.
I'll certainly do more and longer demos like this someday.
