yeah :cheeky: Actually, this area is to be the smaller area of my mission, but still things are being ironed out; the front of the building is still "under construction" still fiddling with meshes to find what looks best for me; the AI are temporary, just from testing things out, different settings, etc. But, it's still slow going with only a few hours a week to work on it . . .

Hello everybody. A lot of time has passed since I last paid a visit.
Seems things are going around nice here with these fms!. I like very much each screenshot of you guys. Each has a particular mood within it :thumb: .
As for my mission, well :erm:, I have been having some problems due to the limited amount of time that I have(exams, holidays and other). Still, I managed to figure out a better storyline and due to this I heavily modified some of the zones that you already know. I'm looking forward to post some pictures this week, before I leave town again, just to remind you of it. However, I'm not going to rush anything.
Anyway, just stepped in to say hello, and good luck with your fms! :)

Can't say I'm sure about the neon red hammers, and all the pictures are still a bit dark to make much out of, but otherwise that looks pretty cool.
I'd suggest (at least in the crypt, where the red hammers are on the floor), a small molten iron bath and some particles, and make them glow a slightly more orange red (and, if possible, not across the whole object, like it's cooling as it moves away from the magic iron) with VertexAmbient lights.
Might be a bit showy for a crypt area, but it would add a little explanation for the Hammer icons being so bright, and add a little more detail to the place.

I agree. The pictures look very good! But I also agree about the glowy red hammers. They look a bit unnatural. Other than that, I liked it very much! :thumb:

Nice screenshots! Really interesting, man!
Anyways, just throwin out an update . . . ain't been round here much the last month or so, just one thing after another . . . Went out of town the first week of July, return home and my PSU took a dump, fried my GPU and my master HD  Oh well; thankfully, I have backups of my FM's on a couple of flash drives, so I haven't lost any of my works in progress.
Went ahead and upgraded my components, now running a 580W PSU with an ATi Radeon x1950 Pro; plus a new Seagate 160GB HD. Everything seems to be running a ton faster than before, and hopefully I won't have as many T3Ed crashes with the x1950 as I did before :D !!
Hopefully this next weekend I'll get around to installing TDS and T3Ed, and get everything up and running again!
Oh . . . BTW . . . ummm, do you lose the custom mesh skins when you lose the HD, or is that info plugged in with the mission save file?

I think it's sort of both.
You lose the skins as saved skins, but the meshes still have the different textures on it, so you have to find and re-save all the staticmeshes once you open the level again.
I think that's how it works anyway.

Nice screens Tazonne. Looking forward to your FM. Though on those screens I noticed that there is only very few diversity and the hammer was actually kinda the only different color I noticed in the quick overview. Though the contrast from the sewers to the grave is good.

Nice shots Tazonne, I haven’t been reading the forum for a while and it’s good to see more people interested in t3ed. Talking of updates here’s my sit rep.
I pretty much finished my (very basic) map a few months ago now but technical issues (it only runs on my machine) stopped me releasing it. So now I’ve finished my exams (forever!) and built a new machine I can get back to desperately struggling to get it to work. I was wondering has anyone run t3ed on a 64 bit os, on even vista for that matter? As I think I’m going to try and repackage it on my new system, see if I can get away from either my own previous mistake that I can’t see or hardware probs whichever is causing it to fail so dramaticaly.

That’s exactly right. I had to do that once already… try not to kill yourself when it dawns on you just how long and tedious it is:thumb:
