I wonder whether half of te FMs shown here are still being worked on... I know mine (actually my 3 FMs now) is. New shots'll be up soon, doing a huge-ass sewer-area with Kurshoks, Pagans and Bandits - oh my!

I wonder that too. I'm pretty stunned by the realization of just how much I've bitten off, but I'm committed to finishing mine (unless I die first).

I'll porbably die before I finish my contest entry. When properly designed 4 40x40x40 cubes can be quite big (i.e. roughly 14 floors, each with 2 - 4 average-sized rooms!! That makes between 28 and 56 rooms!!!)

There actually isn't any detail whatsoever in the shadows :o... I found this out after opening it up in Photoshop and seeing if I could brighten things up (most screens are too dark on my monitor with my calibration, bah). I wonder if that's an issue with whatever image capturing software you used (or if you just used printscreen). Scary, I'm reminded of Thief 1 screenshots..
Unless he uses HDR image capture software (which I sincerely doubt, because it would be a waste of money) you're not going to see anything when you brighten those shadows, whether there's anything there or not.

that's looking very good, if very, erm... yellow.

Well, I'm back.
I graduated from the UA in May and I got a career at Cisco Systems as a Network Admin for the Level B techies. Job has been great so far and I am engaged to my girlfriend of 3 years at long last. We marry once she is done will school (she is going for an accounting degree).
I've mostly been busy with work and actually having a life, heh, but, today is my 23rd birthday and I have the day off as well. Since April (my fiance) is in school, I am waiting for the party tonight and figured I'd drop a line on my status on my campaign and so forth.
I didn't get a chance to mention all the wonderful computer upgrades I went through since the days of my P4 1.8 Ghz with the GF 2 GTS Pro. When Thief 3 came out last year, My friend let me borrow his 5200, which ran Thief 3, to say the least, but I was happy to play the game regardless. Over the summer, I upgraded the RAM to 512 and bought an FX 5700 Ultra, which REALLY sprung the graphics up. My 22nd Bday was the turning point, as I had totally upgraded to a 2800 Athlon XP with a gig of Corsair RAM and an Nforce 2 Deluxe mobo from ASUS. I was in gaming heaven finally and didn't have to play Doom 3 on a 1.8 anymore, heh.
A few months ago, the 5700 Ultra was showing its age and it was sad to see such a kick ass card that I got at a reasonable price fall short. I ended up giving it to April, since she doesn't play too many big games (though that is now changing), and once again, I was in the market. The great news was, I had a grand to blow. So, following the advice of my friend, I decided to give ATI a try again. I used to have a 7000 when it was brand new and that card only lasted me 6 months in the grand scheme. I hated ATI after that, and strictly went NVIDIA from that day on. Now, I love ATI more than ever, thanks to the card i bought from MSI. ATI Radeon x800XT PE. This is the BEST card I have EVER used and it kicked the crap out of everything I threw at it. Thief 3 looks so gorgeous and moves fast.
Anyway, I have all 20 missions set up objective and story-wise and I have local people to be voice actors for my cutscenes. I'm getting ready to post a website sometime next month that will have a list of jobs I have availible for my campaign. Until then, I'll be around, hopefully, lol

Good stuff :thumb:
I'm working on something small at the moment. I'll post screens when there are any worth it...

The Builder doth pity thee, that thou hast decided to use the anti-graphics card! Thou shalt rot in the chaotic realm where there is much stuttering and low-FPS!

Nothing, any more.
I had a hard drive crash over the weekend, and lost more than three months, 150+ hours of work on a three-zone mission that I was becoming quite personally satisfied with (which is a rarity for me). I figure I was about 75% done.
Oh, well. :erg:
Thanks, Western Digital. You got me again.
