I am generally interested in Helldivers 2 (reading the reviews and articles reminded me that we did check out the first Helldivers game, though that one was annoyingly buggy and prone to crashes and freezes, if I remember correctly), but finding time for MP gaming in addition to the Antistasi sessions we've started is proving to be surprisingly difficult. When there's a special offer for Helldivers 2, I'll probably get it, but not knowing if/when I'd actually get to play it with the TTLG gang makes me hesitate for now.

Therefore, multiplying by the henke constant and adjusting for my disposition, V1 = -h * 2G, which leads us to V1 = -0.9G, which means it's probably going to be something I'll hate, and the matter is settled. Thank you, maths!
Yeah I think the math checks out on that one! ;) My issue with Exo One was that it was way too easy. It was the rolling ball equivalent of a walking sim, but without a compelling story to go with it. Venineth is indeed all about the fiddly physics.

Last month I ordered a Meta Quest 2 (nice price point since the 3 recently released). It's my first VR headset, and I'm very impressed! So far I haven't played much, but I've immensely enjoyed Subnautica (with mod submersedVR), and am now loving Subnautica Below Zero. I can tell it's not perfect, some odd issues here and there, but man those games are definitely worth another playthrough in VR. I'd previously played them each 3 times, something I rarely do, and I swore to the kids I wouldn't play them again, so they've teased me this time around, but it's worth it!
Browsing VR games, seems like they're all just tech demos or casual fare. Anything more in depth? Considering No Man's Sky VR and just barely picked up Skyrim VR for $15 on Steam sale (about my max for such an oldie - but goodie). Doesn't seem like developers are ready to go all-in on a full-length VR game.

I mean, the obvious answer is Alyx.

For native VR games I'd recommend Song in the Smoke, an atmospheric jungle survival game that'll take you at least 10 or 12 hours to complete. I also really like The Light Brigade, a roguelike shooter with realistic WW1 weapons and also magic. Red Matter 1/2 are puzzle/action games set in space, with beautiful graphics and great music. Crossfire Sierra squad is a fun arcade shooter, and the Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is a pretty in-depth zombie survival horror. Oh, I also like Ancient Dungeon, a dungeon crawler roguelike with voxel graphics and surprisingly solid VR mechanics.

Nice, I'll check those out!
EDIT - HA, Song in the Smoke was already on my wishlist! But I added Ancient Dungeon, looks pretty fun, and I'm a Minecraft fan. :)

I'll recommend a few too -
Hellblade - Even though it's 3rd person, it's one of the best VR experiences out there. The game is several years old so you can probably pick it up cheap (I checked, it's 3 bucks right now until tomorrow).
RE7/RE8 - Both of these are excellent in VR, even if you've played them flat already.
Fallout 4 - Same.
Into The Radius - Stalker in VR, pretty scary and unsettling.
Assassin's Creed Nexus - A native game for the Quest. I'm not even an AC fan normally, but I thought this was great.
In Death Unchained - My go to archery game for the Quest. Put countless hours into this.
Arizona Sunshine 1&2 - Good old guilty pleasure zombie shooting fun.

If you're a Minecraft fan, you might want to check out CyubeVR.
edit: also, be sure to post your impressions in the(

I appreciate all the suggestions! Some aren't my flavor, but many look great.
When I play any of these I'll post in the VR thread. (over time, might take a while)
I picked up a few:
- Hellblade (Senua) (doesn't really seem like my kind of game, but worth a try for $3)
- HL Alex - didn't wanna pay $60, but on sale for $20 seems good!
- Red Matter 1 (for $12)
- Fallout 4 (for $15)
I added a few more wishlist items:
- The Light Brigade
- Red Matter 2
- CyubeVR (I don't like to play early access games, prefer to wait till they're done)
- Assassin's Creed Nexus (Meta wishlist)
- In Death: Unchained (Meta wishlist)

Some more VR games I'd recommend:
- Superhot VR (pretty different from the non-VR version, and a perfect fit for VR)
- Lone Echo and Lone Echo 2 (sci-fi adventure, great approach to moving around in zero-G)
- Boneworks (janky shooter, grating and derivative in some ways, but fascinating and ambitious use of VR; worth at a discount)
- Ultrawings (arcade flight game, but well designed and fun)
- Walkabout Mini Golf (if you like mini golf, this is a fantastic implementation in VR IMO)
I also hear good things about Blade and Sorcery, but possibly more as a physical combat sandbox.
If you want to play PCVR games wirelessly, I like Virtual Desktop a lot. Steam Link and Air Link both work too, and they may be more or less equivalent by now, but I've been using VD for a while, so I've not had to check the other options.
Oh, and there are a lot of good to great VR mods for non-VR games, many of which are as good as or better than natively VR games. For instance, there's a great Doom 3 mod that you can run on Quest. It may be worth looking into the Flat2VR community to see what's on offer.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot two titles that absolutely deserve to be mentioned:
- Beat Saber (rhythm game that makes fantastic use of VR; unless you hate the genre, I'd consider this a must-buy)
- Tetris Effect (yeah, it's Tetris, but it's a great psychedelic experience in VR)
Some people also say that Thumper (another rhythm game) is great in VR, but I bounced off of it.
