After more than two years since I began working on this idea, I am finally able to launch a public demo for our Crow game!

Play as little crow trying to prove her worth to the world! Make new friends, use variety of tools, and traumatize some hoomans in your way ;) (

Bunny Garden got a big polish update! It's a cute, one-level stealth game with hand-painted watercolor graphics. Collect all the carrots and return to your burrow to win! Give it a try (free to play in browser, only takes a few minutes to play through):

This one is still very satisfying to play. Nice job! :)

Bunny Garden now has items you can collect and use to help escape with the veggies!
- Falcon Feather gives you +1 Move every turn you carry it
Inline Image:
https://i.imgur.com/hhgxhf5.gif- Sprint Mint can be consumed to gain +4 Move for that turn only
Inline Image:
https://i.imgur.com/mfyctSA.gif- Armored Vest saves you from a single attack (and is destroyed)
Inline Image:
https://i.imgur.com/xLPkpVC.gif- Spore Pod can be thrown to place low cover nearby
Inline Image:
https://i.imgur.com/uL2X0x8.gifThis isn't a lot, for sure, but it's chosen as a vertical slice of the items; one item that affects you while carrying it, one item you have to use, one item that's triggered, and one item that's thrown manually. The vest and pod further required a lot of work on the underlying systems so that they could function. It wasn't previously possible for terrain to change! Or for an attack to be survived. A ton of work (and a lot of debugging) went into making those items work correctly, or rather into making the world around them react appropriately without breaking.
I also added the dialog box system, the tooltip system, and the bunny portrait.
Next up, I plan on adding the ability to have two or three bunnies instead of just one. You'll have to rescue them first, though.

There are now multiple bunnies! Rescue two additional bunnies to play with a total of three at a time. Each bunny has a distinct appearance and a small special ability. Be warned, though; the number of threats goes up for each additional bunny! There's also one more threat added once you carry 4+ persistent items into a level.
Inline Image:
https://i.imgur.com/801vJrK.gifRelated features:
* Option to use right-click to move so you don't move a bun while trying to select a different one
* New bunnies spawn in a cage; collect the key and use it next to the cage to rescue them
* Sounds are heard from the closest bun
* Tab and numbers can be used to select
* Brief selection animation when a bun is selected by means other than clicking directly on it (so you know where it is)
* Confirm End Turn if any buns haven't moved
* Enemy spawning and pathing made more random and more robust
* Whenever you add a bunny, you see a "Meet" dialog describing it and its ability
Next up, players will visit the bunny warren between levels. Eat, buy and sell items, and even plant your own little garden!

I finished a level of Bunny Garden and quite enjoyed it, but now Scarborough Faire Greensleeves is stuck in my head.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it! ...Sorry for the brainworm...

I really liked this video about level design. It's presented in a very fun and accessible way.

Worth watching even if you're not doing any level design, but just wanna get a look at how the video game sausage is made.

Haven't seen all of it yet, but more than halfway in, yeah that's an excellent video. He's adept at getting to the heart of some complex design considerations at play and explaining them in an effortlessly clear and simple manner. I don't think I've seen many presentations as lucid as this. It's a really good find.
