Thanks. I must say I've really grown to like shaders in idTech4, even though have to write materials in notepad. But for now it's more about copypasting the code and tweaking textures, since I've already tested the stuff I knew I'd need most. That glass part was fun in particular, I can control both stuff like the amount of transparency, specular reflection, cubemap fake reflection, as well as refraction. I wanted this to be rather subtle, and it turned out pretty well. And with proper unwrapping you can do all this just with three base _d, _n, _s textures (both the doors and the cabinet use the same texture space).
