I know I've been kinda trolling you lately but god DAMN could you please stop posting the 4chan crap, even just for a little while? 4chan might not know the difference between irony and morony, but I'd like to imagine you do.

Rage Against The Machine. Even they are politically opposed to me. But the guitar riffs are so charming and aggressive, even the voice. They are a good way to pull out the stress. Do you like them?
Rage Against the Machine is incredible because of how they manage to use their guitar and bass together in reversing their roles. At times it's almost like the bass is the melody and the guitar is the percussion, I love it.
Muse has stated before that they wanted to be Britain's response to Rage Against the Machine. While I don't really think they sound much alike, Muse is AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING anyways. New album coming! Viva
The Resistance!
Oh, and
MGMT. I have a soft spot for dance-rock, though, like Franz Ferdinand or the Arctic Monkeys.

Lately I've been going back to my roots, if you could call them that.
I've been playing so much hard rock lately, and getting kind of annoyed at how generic sounding my bands songs are becoming. We were supposed to be a progressive band and we... are just not living up to our pretension.
So i've been listening to a lot of what most rockers would call the antithesis. A lot of Moby, Depeche Mode, the Faunts (the guys who wrote the ending credit song on Mass Effect, local guys), Julien K, and the like... it's refreshing. Reminding myself that i'm a musician BEFORE a guitarist.
Also the Neo Tokyo OST, and the stuff on joelnielsen.com.. the guy doing music for Black Mesa. Another local, I found out this week.

I always found it funny that "bukakke" is such a bad word to English ears, but in Japanese it just means "splash" and there's not even a bad connotation. A lot of resturants have bukakke noodle soup and nobody thinks twice about it.
On the other hand, to English ears "otaku" sounds like you're just a harmless fan of anime and manga, whereas in Japanese it's has the connotation of a mentally deranged paedophile that spends all his time in the basement getting off on pictures of severed heads of young girls.
Funny that.
