I've just decided to try a thread I've seen on other forums.Basically you just list what music track youare listening to at the moment.
iv seen some on other forums when one person says a song title, the next names a song that relates to the first in someway, the next person names a song relateed to the second, then third etc etc just an idea :p :)
as to what im listening to.. i listen to lots :p but the main bands i listen to atm would be Inflames, SoilWork, Children of bodom and Dream Theater :)

I just bought some sheet music books for Oscar Peterson and Herbie Hancock, and my girlfriend happens to have the CD with most of the HH songs on it, so we're listening to that so I know what it's supposed to sound like.

Not listening to anything at the moment ...
... but last mp3 accessed is:
林原めぐみ - give a reason.mp3
(that gibberish, in case you browser is able to show it, is: hayashibara megumi)
Can't stand songs in my mother tongue. And english tends to be all the same boring shit (not that there isn't good stuff - just that finding it tends to be kinda hard).

Kultur Shock, if nothing more to expand my gypsy punk phase beyond Gogol Bordello and Devotchka (or however those crazy kids are capitalising these days).
Also Steely Dan.

My entire computer-uploaded music collection alphabetically. Currently, I'm on F. Specifically, Fisherman's Horizon from Final Fantasy VIII. Yes, I own the soundtrack.

Kraftwerk:Minimum-Maximum DVD.
Awesome. Just like being there, except without that sweaty nerdy guy with the Autobahn t-shirt with his armpit in your face.
Buy it. Buy it now!
Testimonials:
Afrika Bambaata: "The funkiest white guys I've ever seen"
Missy Elliott: "I stole everything except their moves. They really can't dance. The robots have nice moves, tho."
Jason Newstead: "Who?"
Thom Yorke: "I envy Ralf"
Martin L Gore: "I wish I could write as deep, personal, soulful lyrics"
Snoop Dogg: "Diggity-wiggity boom-boom. Fo' shizzle"
Chris Martin: "I'm sorry we stole your 'Computerliebe'. I'm SORRY! We suck!"
Paris Hilton: "I'm not wearing any underwear"
Only one of the above is an actual quote. The others I made up for humorous effect. Sorry.

Múm - I Can't Feel My Hand Any More, It's Alright, Sleep Still
I'm such a goddamned sucker for beautiful Icelandic anything. Múm are far more electronic than your sihhurrrosse though.
I also feel it in me to recommend the crap out of Goldfrapp's Felt Mountain (while giving wide berth to her newer works); how dark and intoxicating can you get...you may just get lost in it
Edit: for more of that dark, potent shit also consider Pan American's Quiet City...listen esp. to the track "Het Volk" and tell me it isn't aurally arresting.

I said exactly the same to a friend of mine a couple of days ago. It's brilliant.
And to all of you who think the sweaty nerdy guy with the Autobahn t-shirt with his armpit in your face -bit was just a joke -- you obviously didn't go to the concert. :eww:
