Well, I kinda put all my favorite songs under one playlist, but basically Korn, Disturbed and Nine Inch Nails.

Nonsense!
Just to be nice I'll discuss Youtube now, though I'm not using it at the moment due to lag. In that old "awesome drumming thread" it is really unfortunate that I did not discover (
http://youtube.com/watch?v=GmUNF_1SAD8) The History of Drums earlier to cap everything off. The guy is some middle-aged teacher but the drumming is excellent.
I was reading a review of the latest album from Made Out of Babies (which of course I first heard of through Pandora, despite their contribution to a Melvins tribute album), which said something to the effect that the only surrealist that went as far as them before was Diamanda Galas, of whom I had never heard before, so off to youtube I go. She can do a pretty convincing imitation of the gospel/soul stylings of the American south, at least when she's not trying to make the most messed up vocalizations physically possible. I once heard that Screamin' Jay Hawkins recorded "I Put a Spell on You" when he was absolutely soused and when he later heard it played for him he refused to believe it was actually him. He probably wouldn't have been able to sit through (
http://youtube.com/watch?v=yMWR1SesqM0) this. For me it was sort of like the proverbial train-wreck you can't look away from. Something tells me Sypha would have dug this kind of thing were he not GONE FOR GOOD YOU MEANIES.

Actually, if you could stop posting alltogether, TGGP, that would be great.
Thanks in advance. :)

Henke - new Nick Cave is growing on me, it sounds a bit more like his more gnarly stuff when he was with The Birthday Party, but kinda more contained. I suppose its like the older Bad Seeds stuff with more distortion and less murder. I'd have a listen if you can, you'd probably like it if you like Nick Cave.
Nah, nothing since Yes, Virginia that I know of. It'd be nice if there was!
I'm looking forward to getting Orphans for christmas, I couldn't bring myself to spend £25 on it when it came out. I'm still working my way through his back catelogue, so I can wait.
Some of Nick Cave's stuff is pretty good, my personal favourite is Where the Wild Roses grow.
Anyhwo to get this thread back on track,

The Hand that Feeds-Nine Inch Nails
Why does Trent have to be such a fucking genious?
To make us listen, of course. Who else could convincingly cover Adam Ant's Physical? Or get covered by Devo and Johnny Cash?
