The Good Life is only slightly past the half-way point with 9 days to go. And they just released a playable demo! (
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/476090608/the-good-life?ref=9p5bm5) Check it out! Sadly I'd already watched the demo walkthrough video above, so all the challenge was gone, but it's still a pleasant experience.

Backed (
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kuiper/idol-manager) Idol Manager and the above mentioned Swery65 game (he follows me on Twitter, which is a nice novelty I guess.).
Idol Manager hit their stretch goal for mod support, so I'll wait for the inevitable K-pop mod. They also hit their stretch goal for a Switch port, a management/tycoon game would work well on a mobile platform so that's cool.

Hell yeah! It was looking uncertain for a while there, but in the last few days it soared right past the finish line. I think getting a playable demo out so Let's Players had something to show was a good idea.

I'm backing
DYSTOA, a poetic first person exploration game set in an "otherworld" recently suffering through some kind of apocalypse. The game is apparently near completion, but now they need a little bit of extra funds to finish it. Unfortunately, the interest hasn't been overwhelming, so things do look a little grim at the moment, but, still, it's not impossible that they will reach their goal: they are at 68% right now with five days to go. I can think of at least two, not too unreasonable, scenarios that would solve the problem, but if the current rate is maintained, the goal won't be reached.
As a fan of the genre -- although a somewhat starved fan -- I believe the game has the potential to be something great -- or else I wouldn't back it, but, at the same time, I'm holding back a little: I don't know if they are aware of it, but their English is lacking a bit -- which doesn't have to be a problem, but you will have to look past that when reading their presentation, which
is a problem: they aren't the best at selling a game that both looks and sounds amazing. Communicating (in English) doesn't seem to be their most developed skill and attracting the right audience for this type of game can't be done with just smoke and mirrors. Another problem could be that the average gamer isn't part of that audience.
The developers are apparently working on many fronts at the same time by getting out smaller games, like Dystoa (or Ascendance), so they can keep working on their big one,
ESSENCE, which will be much larger in scope. Essence is publicly available -- and I have been wanting to play it for a while now -- but it's still in Early Access. If their current kickstarter is a success, this might help to get Essence out and done too.

DYSTOA is slightly over 100% right now with 46 hours left.

I don’t think you can kick this, can you? AFAIK, you’ll get a copy if you supported Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and you’ll be able to purchase it separately.
Also, I’m shamelessly stealing this from someone else’s post on the game:
My girlfriend was looking over my shoulder while I was browsing and said, “Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon? That’s a game about menstruation, isn’t it?”

They were actually still accepting late pledges until yesterday. I forgot all about this project until I saw the announcements for the 2d prequel and decided to make a pledge over the weekend. Should be fun to play on my switch.

This is awesome. As a 2D Castlevania megafan. I'm all over this.
I'm almost more interested in that than the actual game.
Also, I'm stealing what N'Al's stealing too.
