For those who don't watch the Underworld forum, the Underworld Ascendant Kickstarter officially began today:
(
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/othersidegames/underworld-ascendant?ref=nav_search)
$20 is the lowest pledge to get a copy of the game.
$35 will get you access to the beta.
$50 will get you access to the alpha.
Looks pretty awesome so far (as far as the scope of the project goes, <strike>no screenshots yet</strike>) - it also appears they won't have any trouble getting funded. They're already almost a quarter of the way to their initial $600K goal.
Edit: there is some prototype video of the game within the intro video on the Kickstarter page.

Worth mentioning for anyone that can't be bothered to look into it that Paul Neurath, Warren Spector, Tim Stellmach, and Steve Pearsall are all involved with development of Underworld Ascendant.

STRAFE KICKSTARTOR has a bit of ground still to cover. Like, 100 BIG ONES within the next 9 days KINDA GROUND.
Here's a Best Friends Play video to WIN YOU OVER

It won me over, well, mostly the fact that they still haven't made the target and time is running out is winning me over because come on, this needs to get made, RIGHT?

Oh, dear. That's not promising, especially if the 1/3-1/3-1/3 rule holds (they're well under halfway). This is an extremely well publicized Kickstarter, with articles on several major news sites. If they're sinking, then either (A) people really don't want this product or (B) Kickstarter is a burst bubble. :erg:

Just a link? And no explanation for why you're posting it?
Even though it relates to a Kickstarter project, it seems kind of random given that no one in the thread is discussing it.

Thankfully, adding context to a link about Molyneux is a simple matter of putting "Get a loada this bullshit:" in front of it.

Presented for your amusement: A falsified interview with Mr Peter Molyneux, Esq., in which comedic mockery is engaged upon for the entertainment of yourself, the reader.
In other news, <a href="http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/02/09/oh-godus-what-the-hells-going-on/">an extraordinary summary of the current state of 22 Cans' Kickstarter game "Godus"</a> was published on Rock Paper Shotgun today.
