You mean the graphics (graphics) architecture (graphics) stunning weather (graphics) and vast landscapes (graphics)? Yes, they were first class, you'll notice I didn't critise them once., but a game cannot survive on looks alone, and the rest of it was average.
The rich culture and sense of exploration were totally destroyed by the cloned AI and dungeons.
The only 'wow' factor this game had, is 'wow, this looks great!'

Venroth, if MW was such a crappy game, why are you wasting so much of your time in a forum full of people that like the game? Shouldn't you be doing something more constructive with your time than trying to make enemies? I'd like this thread to stay on topic, and you're not helping that much KTHXBYE.

Another group of ideas:
Nitpicky, but bold and italic font usage would be nice, and being able to view NPC conversations with each other, rather than just through you.
Larger cities/villages, where people will do different things depending on the time of day (people gotta work at something).
Spells that level up with you. i.e. a spell doesn't just do 5-10 pts of damage, but some will increase as you level up and/or increase your proficiency with that magic school. The same would go for other effect spells.

Been awhile sinice i posted but heres my list.
1. Completed sets of weapons EX: There arent any daedric halberds, or throwing knives, crossbows etc etc. Id like to see COMPLETE sets of stuff like that. if they made it as an iron weapon the should have followed through with the rest of the material types. Plugins don't count.
2. More interesting light armors. Glass is pretty kool though.
3. Maybe more environment music? Nothing beats those exploring themed music.
4. FACES AND HAIR.
5. Maybe particle effects?
(and money so i can afford a better computer to run Morrowind :) )
I think that covers everything for me.
Hehe, one more thing. Buyable ships houses and carts :) Daggerfall I miss you... (DamN WinXP)

I'd like to see more NPC development.
It is so frustrating to walk into a strange town and try to talk with people and find out what is happening in a particular place, only to discover that everyone only parrots the same generic conversation topics. :p I really only needed to know about "nord" or "hlaalu" the first time I spoke with someone. Every time after that it just became increasingly annoying to page down through dozens of conversation options to find the single new one. I like that there are many NPCs wandering about and I also understand that not everyone in Morrowind will have a quest for me or something interesting to tell me, but I think that the "filler" NPCs should have blank conversation trees rather than a handful of generic topics. This would provide and easy way to identify them and reduce frustration. As it is, I worry I might miss a quest or important information, simply because I didn't realize I could ask something unique.
(Okay, rant concluded:sweat: )
I really love the graphics and the expansive nature of the game. The whole place is just such a wonder to behold. I'd love to see more guars in the next expansion ;) and some new armor/weapon styles (my collection is almost complete - I'm going to have to download some MODs!). I love the little side quests sprinkled about the land, they add greatly to the game emmersion
And just one more thing - please, please, put in fewer cliff racers! I am far too powerful for them to do me any harm, but their persistant attacks are so annoying! How can there be so many of these flying vermin when they insist upon attacking anything that moves - even if it's wielding a daedric dikatana? Oh, well. That is simply one of the great mysteries of Morrowind, like how fire atronachs can walk in water and why guars are so cute. :)

Some sort of daily schedual for NPCs would be nice as well. People can't just wander around the plaza continuously, and shopkeepers can't just stand in one place forever (though they may not be able to move with the amount of stuff I've sold them). Some sort of issue with sleep deprivation would be a bit more interesting, as the PC always seems like a bit of a machine at times. Maybe stats start to drain after some number of days without sleep?

When I first played Morrowind, I was rather suprised to discover that shops were open 24/7 and that nobody ever returned to their homes at night. From the standpoint of a thief, I think it would be cool if NPC shifted their schedule depending on the time of day, so sometimes you would find them sleeping in their bed with the shop all locked up for the night. While this would add a few new hassles to selling items, we already have to deal with limited funds, so I figure a little extra realism wouldn't kill the gameplay too badly.

I've been playing a sort of thief as well, (Nightblade), and would still like some good thief-type missions (Not like the game, but just stealing stuff) where I have to break into a home at night and be quiet to avoid waking the owner up. I'd also like to see someone, someplace, sleep. Finding a toilet someplace in the land would be good, though I suppose the lack of one could explain why everyone walks around day and night with a stiff, straight posture. :p

Merchants wouldnt open their shops at night, but u could always wait til they went to bed to steal everything on their shelves.

As a fan of RPGs and have played Daggerfall, I had hoped things that I enjoyed in Daggerfall would appear again in Morrowind.
- Horses! Where's the rideable and wonderful companion?
- Permanent animal companion like dogs, panthers or whatever ...
- Buy houses (yes, there's editor, but the idea of buying houses is different)
- Personal ships to sail around?
- Stores with closing and opening hours
- ermm, NPCs that actually disappear to do their stuffs or sleep.
- real time facial expressions
Might be ridiculous but it would be nice to have em'
