Be it an expantion pack or the next game, what do you hope to see included in the game, aside from what we already have. And don't feel shy to say what you hope they don't include.
I'm hoping that race, sex, and physical actions play a more prominent role in the story. Having other NPC's treat you differently or having different conversations with you depending on your race/sex would be neat to see. It would also be nice that your action more directly dictate how things turn out. For instance, say you could take a 'bad guy' approach to the game (like being able to actually join Dagoth Ur). Instead of making the decicion based on a single conversation (a man asks you "Do you want to be evil?" You answer "yes" and poof, you're evil), you would be considered 'evil' by your actions leading up to that point in time. Kind of like how a Jedi becomes a Dark Jedi.

Well, theres a new expansion for Morrowind due out in may, called Blood Moon
In it you travel to this icy, recently colonized island to the north of Vvardenfell. Apparntly you are put in charge of an Imperial Mining Company and you can dictate how it runs it's buisiness or something. Also, Werewolves.

That's cool. :D
However, it doesn't quite stick with the set topic. What are you hoping (I hope to God I'm spelling that right) to see implemented in the next game?

I would like to see more open-endedness in the main quest, including, as you say, the option to become evil rather than being forced into the hero's role. Ideally there would be significant benefits to taking the evil path, so it would be genuinely tempting.
Gender-specific armor and clothing.......
I also hope that perky, stunted, squeaky voiced Wood Elves are not included.

no way, man. the dudes can go, yes, but don't touch my bosmer females. they're sooooo cute. i just wanna grab them and...er...hug them. a lot.
i hope that becoming a werewolf has some story to it more than just being one. like a werewolf guild or something.
and i wanna meet the damn emporer.

I don't think they'd hype the whole werewolf thing that much if it wasn't a major part of the story/setting. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot to do as one (more than for the vampire clans anyway).
If pulled off correctly, the werewolf concept could become one of the most atmospheric things ever. One night, when travelling through the cold icy forest, snow starts gliding from the sky, and a full moon (or two, heh) shows itself from behind the clouds. A howl echoes through the wilderness, and as you look in the distance, you see a lonely silhouette high up on a cliff. Next thing you know, a pair of red eyes is shining from the shadows, eyeing its prey... The really cool part of all this is that the player could be the wolf, and not the traveller. I'm starting to have really high hopes for how high BloodMoon's immersion could go!! :D
I'm still curious as to how Bethesda plans to force the player to actlike a werewolf. For a vampire, it's all well and good since they still (more or less) control their senses, but for a werewolf, it would be highly unrealsitic if the player could just waltz around without any instincts kicking in. Maybe you'd be forced to kill someone every hour? Or perhaps have clumsy control of your movements? Or maybe lose control of all your inventory, spells, everything? The possibilities... :D

I'd like to see Bethseda fleecing the consumer with more lame 'expansions'
ie - a few new buildings and pieces of armour thrown together in 10 minutes with their mickey mouse construction set.... no, hang on - they're already doing that....sorry.
They tried to reach for the stars, but ended up flat on their faces.

I, for one, do not share your pesimism.
Venroth on 18/2/2003 at 21:00
Bethseda will be glad to hear it, I'm sure.
Hey, Frank - there's another one over here
