While I'm ranting on it, that Timothée Chalamet kid is tolerable in Dune. I didn't really like him at first, he doesn't really command the part, but he does the job, and the story carries him quite a bit; and I warmed up to him a bit more on this second viewing.
But he shouldn't push his luck.
I don't think this will be as bad as the Johnny Depp version, but I'm still getting off vibes, and he doesn't really seem to fit the part. Looks good at least.

Well it's not a Johnny Cash movie but it's based on his song "I Walk The Line" and is named after it so I suggest you watch that one. I myself haven't seen it in three decades so I might as well. It stars Tuesday Weld at the height of her beauty and Gregory Peck at the height of his talent. It's a you got to see it icon of early sixties movies right up there with "Pretty Poison" which also stars Weld.

Oh, I read this book. I think it could be good for a movie. I have opinions about the book, but the movie may go in a different direction, and I wouldn't want to bias anyone's opinion going in in any event. But I think the book is worth reading and I expect the movie will be worth watching.
