A portal to hell is mentioned, so it's got one up on the 2005 movie, I guess.

What am I gonna watch? Tomorrow afternoon, I'm gonna go see Captain Marvel with my nine-year-old granddaughter. Not been to the movies with her since Star Wars: Rogue One. I assumed it was gonna be crap, but then (
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0c5qv8v) Mark Kermode said it was actually pretty good, so I'm getting my hopes up. Just a bit.
I will relate my disappointment later. Or less likely, my enjoyment.

I just realised, some genius at BBC iPlayer made the volume control max level not be 10. It's 11. As in "this one goes up to..."

Yeeeah that got so common as to be cliché at some point.
Gray on 17/3/2019 at 05:19
Of course it is. I just hadn't seen it there yet. Maybe I'm slow.

Curious that you focused on some quick throwaway comment about an app setting, not on the heartwarming story of two generations apart coming together to enjoy a piece of modern drama. "He was a man. A grumpy old fat man. One man, with a mission. She was a girl. A little girl. Together, they... JOIN, to... WATCH..... a... movie!"

Oh, no, I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about the volume control, I meant your "piece of modern drama" was cliché.
...Just kiddin'... ;)
"Up to 11" has a friggin' Wikipedia page: (

My favorite is the fact that the IMDB page for
This is Spinal Tap has the movie rated as 8.0 / 11 (instead of the usual "/ 10"): (

It was alright. Not as great as some people say, but I did enjoy the various Marvel references. Fun to see a de-aged Fury and Coulson, I used to watch Agents of SHIELD.
