Coming back to The Wire, season 4.

Sitting on a patch of grass in the sun, outside the uni library, having ideas that vaguely match the thesis I need to write, but only because I'm writing in and about the cloud.

Not as good as you hoped, is it?
Its terrible. I'm actually consciously forcing myself to watch through the rest of it just because I feel like I've started and have to finish.

I've been seeing these annoying floaters for the past who knows how long, so I figured it was time to get things checked out at the eye doctor. Turns out the floaters aren't anything to worry about, but I'm still flawed. FLAWED!
25/20 vision, slight astigmatism. The doctor said I don't need glasses, but it wouldn't hurt if I got a pair. I also suffer from ocular migraines, apparently. All this time, I figured they were just rods and cones haywiring out due to my exploding head syndrome.
So here I am, stuck at home because of my dilated eyes (I've go the font set to HUGE so I can read what I'm typing), with nothing to do cept wonder if I'll look like a dork with glasses. Lower back pain and broken hips probably figure big in my future.
addendum: 8 hours later and my pupils still have yet to constrict.

That exploding head thing is more a feeling of vibration than an actual sound right? I've done that but just thought it was a leftover from self dilation of the eyes.
Just wait till your later forties when your eyes begin to stop focusing close up and you need to tie a dlicate knot or thread a needle. I don't know how those old ladies sewed quilts. Not that I'll ever need to but I might want to add another roll to a kite string or pick out a brain in a dark laboritory. Damn my eyes.

Ditto. I think the worst part is how Bill pronounces "Sookie"
