It’s a strange thing but I find keys to the tombs inside those tombs (for instance inside Sarano Tomb there was a key to Sarano Tomb). They don’t open any doors or chests. What are they for?
Maybe I miss some hidden doors, but I have been searching the walls for them quite precisely. I have encountered only one hidden door so far, but not in the dungeon – in the Mage Tower in Tel Vos. Have you found any hidden doors in tombs/shrines?

the key that you fonud in saranos tomb(or what the name was) is to one door in that tomb.

I found one hidden door in ebon heart but i forgot where.
And the keys should usually be for inside the area you got it. Maybe you just unlocked what it was for already.:sly:

What are they for? You find them in every ruin, specifically in the one near Moonmoth Legion Fort and they don't open anything. Is this linked to the main quest or something?

I currently have over 75 keys, including the huge key to the dwemer ruin near Moonmoth(forgot name), all sitting on a table in one of the rooms in Aldruhn mage's guild. If your security is high enough, you'll figure out that you only need keys to unlock slave bracers, and even that can be bypassed.

They all go to something...a door... more often a treasure box....sometimes a slaves bracers...but there is no use in keeping them after you use them. Most of them just have one use and if you have already un-trapped/un-locked/or both (which it sounds like most of you already have) then there really is no point in keeping them now is there.
I never pick up keys myself because the only thing that keys can open that i can't are slaves bracers, and that twin lamps stuff is not my style.:sly:
