I have been playing MW without a hitch since it came out which by now is close to a month. However, recently everytime I play the game it freezes and then reboots after about a minute of play. This happens every single time I play making the game uplayable. When XP comes back up it says I had a display driver problem. However, other 3D games work fine. Its a weird problem because the game has worked fine for over 3 weeks and I have made no changes to the software/hardware. BTW I have the latest nvidia drivers installed, and even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the game removing all files just in case one was corrupted.
Systems Specs:
WinXP
Geforce 3 TI500 --> with AGP 4x turned on
AMD XP 1 600+
SIS735 chipset rather then the VIA that has caused problems with Geforce2
256 Mbytes of DDR SDRAM
SBlive for what its worth.
DXDIAG shows no problems with DirectX
Thanks in advance:)

First, there're two versions of NVidia drivers: there're the WHQL drivers, and the latest drivers. The first set of drivers are those tried and tested and certified to be compatible with Windows, and the second ones are those that do not have that guarantee. Try both.
Second, try reinstalling Morrowind. If it worked before, it might be an issue with Morrowind having corrupted itself or something along those lines. If you can, try to figure out what has changed since it stopped working.

I reinstalled the WHQL drivers that came with the card that did not help. I also have tried reinstalling Morrowind after deleting everyfile including save games from the harddisk. Just in case they were corrupted.

Did you delete, or did you uninstall? I ask because often, there's a big difference.
And you've tried it with both the WHQL drivers, _and_ the latest ones, right?
Also, try reinstalling DirectX 8.

I installed the latest WHQL drivers, the 29.42 that were just released monday I believe. And when I say deleted I mean I uninstalled both Morrowind and the construction set, and then deleted the directory tree just in case there were some hidden files in there.
On a positive note: Since support has written back they told me to go to DXDIAG and disable then enable DirectDraw and Direct3D acceleration over and over again. This normally fixes the problem I have. I was doing it and at first it did not work. However, this morning I disabled and enabled and did the test 5 times in a row and then launched Morrowind. I played for about three minutes, and the game did not crash I was able to get out on my own:) Any how if it starts up again I might try reinstalling DX8.1.
Thanks
