R.I.P Dusty.
I'll admit I never had the pleasure of conversing with him. I did find his photo among the rogues gallery that is the Ttlg Photoalbum (a woefully underutilised resource).
He seems pretty chilled out in that picture, the sun is shining, and he looks rather like a suave pirate.
Godspeed.

I hesitated to post, I already posted to his FB account, so why bother here, because its family, (to a point) that's why. When T Scott Holbert posted about Dusty's passing, I lost my breath. My eyes flew open wide, his tribute to Dusty, shook me. For those of you who are not familiar, T Scott was a part of Eidos at one point. He sent me my Thief 2 hat. A few of us have them. When I went to Dusty's FB page, and saw his son's post, I felt a lump in my throat, and tears welled in my eyes. For a man I never meant, it hit me. We shared both a past on the Eidos forum first, then TTLG. He made for me a chandelier swinger gif, my very own from Dusty, he also sent his music to me. A talented man, with his music and words forever etched in my heart. I cannot help but have a sense of sadness now when I think of Thief, its been a hard year, I am truly having a bit of a hard time with all this. I know it will pass, but, we'll never forget. I will forever love the game, and the people that are associated with it. Don't under estimate the power of your words, in this fast pace society we have today, slow down, take the time, write. You never know who's lives you'll touch. Peace......

Condolences to Dusty's family and friends. Sad to read of another long-standing TTLGer "moving on".
Dusty, you look like one cool cat - fly high sir.

I remember when he posted that photo, he was a big fan of the Renn Faires, I believe that's where it was taken. Not sure, if memory serves me.
