Occasionally my friends and I can't access bulkhead doors and sometimes automatic doors just decide to stop functioning.
I understand that multiplayer is buggy but is there a workaround? Sometimes if we wait a little the automatic doors start working but it's a hassle.

i guess we'll wait around for a while and see if it works. an automatic door that was permanently open for me was permanently closed for my friend but it ended up opening for him after like 2 minutes of waiting.

Well it's taken literally a decade but me and a pal finally finished system Shock 2 in Multiplayer mode. Would have probably taken less time if you didn't have to fight the loading bugs with bulkheads etc in the middle of the game- but once we figured out how to get past those then the rest was a slightly less bumpy ride. One oddity we did come across was that once we'd defeated Shodan at the end- only one of us got the cutscene of the end of the game. The other player was just left to wander the deserted level. Anyone else come up against this one?

When I played through I found this would happen all the time during the recreation deck. The only workaround that seem to work was to re-start whichever computer was hosting the game, then host a new session and load up the saved game. Worked 9 times out of 10.
