Web sites down??? - TTLG Forums

Hi

I am totally new to Morrowmind, got it free with Nvida graphics card and just thought I would try it, I am getting a d3d8.dll error, anyway thats how I came to be looking for their website but

(www.bethsoft.com)
(www.morrowind.com)
(www.elderscrolls.com)

all seem to be down?? Anyone know where else I can go?

I know nothing about the game yet, but it looks great from what I've seen here, I play AOE online a lot so i would be glad to find something new and interesting. .. . .

I can't access those sites either. However, if you would take a look at the upperright corner of this page you would see a link. <a href="http://Morrowind.ttlg.com">Morrowind.ttlg.com</a>

And as far as I know, there are two Morrowind forums here on TTLG, they are:

This is also the internet we're talking about ... websites periodically go down. If they're big important ones, usually they come back up, too.

Ensure your DirectX version is 8.1 or 9

:D Thanx for the very quick reply, I downloaded Direct 9 and all is well, I was only on 7. I had a quick go at the game and it seems great, but as I got it free there are no instructions background or anything, can you direct me somewhere to learn more about the game, I am amazed I never even heard of it, I don't want spoilers though, at least not yet ;)

Anyway thanx again, I look forward to playing this some more, ooops bang goes another year ....

I am afriad I must be ignorant to Morrowind ways!! But I would not know a plugin if I met on in the street! And as for warez, I assume you mean freebies?? YEs it was included free, just three discs in little pockets, nothing to even say which to install first, anyway I installed all three.

Is Morrowind out long?

These forums are more active the the AOE forums, which amazes me!
