Has there ever been talk about having one of those cute little web icons for TTLG? Y'know, the ones that appear just to the left of the address in the address bar, and that appear in your favourites / bookmarks / sites-i-like-to-visit menu.
Just curious. We don't need one, of course.

That was actually something I thought about and experimented with briefly a year or so ago. I don't remember why I stopped, probably I just got bored with it.
I remember it was a bit frustrating to make something decent-looking and that small, but my skillz are considerably better today than they were then. Maybe I'll have another crack at it.
It would be cool (in a completely unnecessary way) to have browser icons for the entire network, I agree. At this point we'd need... erm... how many? *does maff

That looking-glass man would be ideal, if he didn't compress down to a jumble of inscrutable pixelly nonsense at 16x16. Perhaps a slice of his looking-glass?
Remember also that links can be dragged to the desktop, where they will use 32x32 or 48x48 versions from the same icon.

Okay, I was bored, so I snuck in here again to dig up an old grave. I've just tinkered a couple of favicons for four of the TTLG sites.

Feel free to use them as you will. I exclusively used graphics I found on the corresponding sites for these icons. I've failed at a Forums icon so far, but that might yet come up.
All of these icons contain the graphics in 48x48, 32x32 and 16x16 formats, each in true colour, 8-bit and 16 colours. They should work just fine in any Windows version, with any browser that supports favicons and also as desktop icons or for whatever you want them for.

Apart from a Forums icon, I also plan on doing a T2x favicon based on the logo you see all over the place there. Just thought I'd let you people know.
As for DromEd Central, I at least have a rough idea, but for Stygian Abyss and Morrowind, I'm pretty clueless.
