Big congrats NH! I got to hang out with Joey Kramer (the drummer) and Brad Whitford about 10 years ago in Memphis - super nice guys. Hope you have a blast!
(P.S. Take the pretty kerchiefs off your mic stand before you show up. It would just be awkward.)

You want to know how ancient Cheap Trick is?
Assuming that kids to whom the song "Surrender" was directed at the time had kids in their early 20's, and their kids also have kids at about the same age, "Mommy" and "Daddy" will great-grandparents in the next 5 years, if they aren't already.
Does that just about fucking blow your mind?
I don't get it, Cheap Trick isn't that ancient. They started in 74, Aerosmith in 70.
Pissing all over an innocuous parade.

Congrats New Horizon! I hoped my vote and the other would help, and it seems the TTLG factor is quite a powerful force! Of course, you couldn't have gotten where you are without the talent! :)
Now its your job to get autographs for everyone here. :sly:

I never said Aerosmith were spring chickens either. They were past their prime when I saw them play in 1989.

No sound check, we just had to plug in and play in the pouring rain...but it was fun.
The show had been delayed by an hour due to a truck arriving late. We had to cut 2 songs from our 5 song setlist. It was short, but we played to well over 7000 people...probably closer to ten.

It was quite the accomplishment for us. :)
Enjoy

I like your drummer. Couldn't hear the vocals very well, but the band sounds pretty good.
