He's neither black nor white nor anything in between.
He's a reptilian humanoid like all politicians.

Anyone who isn't excited about tomorrow either doesn't understand how fucked up things have been here for the last seven years, isn't intelligent enough to put together how having a knobhead for a president has affected them personally, or actually thinks his policies were good.
You also don't realize that this is more about getting rid of Bush than it is about getting Obama. The fact that we're saying goodbye to a redneck Texan and hello to the first black president IS historical, and you if can't grasp the import of that, I'm not sure how I can expect you to get anything in the above paragraph, because you clearly have no aptitude for higher thinking on the sociological level. I guess I should be glad that the U.S. will always have people to stock shelves at Wal-Mart.
dont you see how enlightened i am you fucking ignorant proles

I just want to know what exactly 'change' means to him. I mean, it is very vague, yet he got elected just because he promised it. Think of the extremes he could go to, under the guise of 'change'.
Matthew on 19/1/2009 at 18:08
No, it was not vague. He spelt out his policies in quite a bit of detail.

And the Oval Office.

Did you have this thought yourself, or are you repeating something you heard Bill O'Reiley say?

Obama is a gamechanger, a white knight, right? Everything is going to be OK now? 36 hour countdown to Paradise and all that?
You have got to be fucking kidding me. Seriously.
Wait, what? You mean I'm not going to wake up to find all everything sunshine and rainbows in Iraq and Afghanistan? We aren't going to all have jetpacks and limitless vistas of pristine wilderness to soar above as we high-five each other and just generally enjoy life without corruption, hurricanes, embezzlement, war, disease, racism, and class-based inequity?
Boy am I embarrassed now! Shame on me for getting all enthusiastic about a politician for once in my miserable life. :o
Koki on 19/1/2009 at 19:54
Admit it, jetpacks would be pretty fucking awesome.
Matthew on 19/1/2009 at 19:57
Fuck the jetpack, WHERE IS MY FUCKING FLYING CAR NOBAMA?

Obviously you're naive and too impossibly doe-eyed to realize that all this will not be accomplished by tomorrow at noon (which is surely what you expect - I mean, c'mon, you voted for the guy right? He better deliver at least half of this by next Friday or we're all gonna convert to Republicans). I mean, even if he's in office for the next eight years, what POSSIBLE impact could he have on things like say, U.S. foreign relations, the economy, military spending, U.S. imperialism, or personal privacy? I mean, it's not like a president, or even a vice-president could change any of those things in such a short amount of time, right?
Fuck me. Sometimes I think we deserve George Bush.
