Hey, the Dalai Lama just said he's a big fan of George W. Bush. Guess we can forget about Obama freeing Tibet.

Obama is a gamechanger, a white knight, right? Everything is going to be OK now? 36 hour countdown to Paradise and all that?
You have got to be fucking kidding me. Seriously.
Get out. Also Koki you suck at life.
I'm mainly interested in the speech, it's pretty exciting to actually have a high profile politician who seems genuinely intelligent and can put together some terrific speeches.
EDIT: Denisv, maybe Putin will run next time and we can get a real leader to fix up a broken country, miright?

That's true, but it is your life that sucks.

Here comes another winter,
Waiting for Utopia,
Waiting for Hell to freeze over

Anyone who isn't excited about tomorrow either doesn't understand how fucked up things have been here for the last seven years, isn't intelligent enough to put together how having a knobhead for a president has affected them personally, or actually thinks his policies were good.
You also don't realize that this is more about getting rid of Bush than it is about getting Obama. The fact that we're saying goodbye to a redneck Texan and hello to the first black president IS historical, and you if can't grasp the import of that, I'm not sure how I can expect you to get anything in the above paragraph, because you clearly have no aptitude for higher thinking on the sociological level. I guess I should be glad that the U.S. will always have people to stock shelves at Wal-Mart.

Let's hope he didn't have a clue about the corruption in Illinois.

Of course the more widespread the rot is, the harder it will be, but every process has to start somewhere.

... and I live in Illinois, if that tells you anything. :weird:
It's a sad statement when we (here in Illinois) stop wondering if our next governor will be corrupt and just wonder exactly how corrupt he/she will be. :(

hell, he even sounds like a white man.
Do white men and black men sound that different
Anyway, he
is white, at least as much as he is black. Not that you'd know from the media coverage!
