Thief13x, you seem to suffer from the classic Libertarian malady (not saying you are one, but the way you go about it seems similar). Nobody will ever fit your requirements, so you will never be wrong.
Its not about what Bush really was at heart, its what he presented himself to be. If you think you get any points after 8 years of attacking him, you are wrong. The people who voted him in can't just turn against him in the last year of his presidency (and then vote McCain and feel totally vindicated).
Its like Reganesque leaders are a myth. Since nobody will ever live up to that myth, you can never be proven wrong. You can just say "You call him a Regan republican? Pah!" and just go on. People are constantly taking advantage of this to win votes. What I think I'm saying is you will probably never find the leader you are looking for, and I'm not sure he ever really existed to begin with.

I think he's saying that people being surprised at no arrests is racist since more than the usual proportion of people there will have been black and the implicit suggestion is that black people have greater criminal tendencies than whites and so the fact that there were NO arrests is surprising. Or something.
Anyways, this was a great event to see live on TV. Luckily nothing was going on at work and we all got to watch (then some twit started nattering in the background so I went and sat in an empty coffee room and watched everthing).

Okay first, I was thirteen when Bush got voted in, second, you could have really stopped after the first paragraph because somone does exist and I voted for him.

You apparently still don't get it. It has little to do with age. Rather, it has to do with the younger generation, much whom have grown up in a flat world and with the internet, and who have learned to work and interact with people from other countries like they live next door.
I have never understood racism, probably because I have lived with roommates from 5 or 6 different countries, and have collaborated with peers from atleast that many. Obama, regardless of his age, realizes this and would like to see nothing more than a country with people who, unlike you, don't spout off racist bullshit and who look past politics and towards principle.
