And?

Thanks, Scots, though I already found it.
Colour me very impressed. A lot of stuff he said- no, actually, all of it- I actually agree with, and some of the stuff he's said, I've been saying for years. It's nice to have that sense of gratification, that finally, here's someone who gets it. Cases in point:
"As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals."
"We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense."
"To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West - know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy."
"To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it."
Obama's a fine orator.
I've changed my opinion of him a lot since November. For all his talk about hope and faith and change, he's finally convinced me to have faith that even in the face of silly partisan bullshit and dogma, he can make the right decisions.
Good luck, Mr. President. Nobody wants you to succeed more than I do.
As a side note, my mother is wearing black today in mourning. Jesus, melodrama much?

Or a sign of budding sympathy.

That would probably be funny if it made sense.

One of the hillbillies down the road had a "Bush/Cheney '04" sign out in the front lawn right before the inauguration.
Speaking of Ol' Crippled Dick, I didn't know (

Hey, the Dalai Lama just said he's a big fan of George W. Bush. Guess we can forget about Obama freeing Tibet.

I thought it was a good speech.
I'm definitely going to put aside my childish ways now.
