Superb speech. I especially like how he took a few minutes to rake W over the coals for being such an honorless, amoral cunt. Take THAT, you Texas Twat!!!!!
Now that he has assumed the office, I can say what I feared the most without fear of jinxing myself and making it come true: Executive Pardon. He left- as far as I know- without preemptively pardoning any of his servitors. That means Wolfowitz, Feith, Cheney, Rove, and all those other cumstains are going to spend the next few years living in fear of Congressional subpoena. It may be too much to ask for to hope for prison time, but at least it's a possibility now.

I think the only two he pardoned were two border guards who'd shot a Mexican, yes?

I know you don't mean this as such, but this is a powerful insult.
Just because Obama is President does not mean that everything, or even anything at all, will get better. In fact it may become worse. We don't know. We can't see the future.
The President does not have near as much power as you guys seem to believe, and he has no power whatsoever to fix the economy. The government can't fix things, it can only break them.

He isn't going to be the Christ-like saviour he is portrayed as in the media, but he can at least string a sentence together, which is a good start.

And he hasn't started another war yet.
Or added trillions to our national debt within the first few sentences of his speech.

No, this one is: fuck off and don't put words in my mouth.

Stop repeating this, it is ignorant tripe, borne of a poor understanding of misguided ideology.
In short, the fact that you would utter such words marks you as a simpleton and a fool.
