Still ironing out a few kinks but I'll post how to do it with as little fuss as possible very soon. The only problem is with not being able to hold down the attack button for an over head swing. But, oh well.

:thumb: Now it's on to swimmable water :erg:
I actually have been trying for a while. The only thing I've been able to do was to have bubbles, underwater vision, slow down NPC's animations, & applying a fire stim as well as making an object bounce around. I'll probably try to have bubble indicators too.

Cool. Hope it works. :)

Excellent. I was hoping this would work out.
Also: Can we get a nifty screenshot in the meantime?

Sure thing. Just working on getting the proper sword sound schemas working. :) One sec.
...here we go.
Taken inside my "working" installation of T3Ed. This is where I do all of my Frankenstein experiments before putting them in my main installation or in Minimalist. I completely replaced the dagger with the sword in this case. I did this since I have all the weapon slots filled because I put the rope arrow in the 9th slot...and also because I'm rather fond of the sword. ;)

Mmm...sword.
I'll maybe try making a custom sword later.

le sword is most delicious.
Only a sword in spirit I'm afraid. None of the functionality that the originals had but it feels right.

does it have the increased reach and damage a sword should have or does it just act like a dagger that looks like a sword? or by functionality did you mean that it doesn't move the same? honestly, I kind of liked the dagger, felt more thief-like to me. in T1&2 I got so good with the sword I could out fight the sword wraiths and the undead hammers most of the time and take out like three or four guards at once. I liked not having that option in T3. but yeah, a sword is cool.

I agree completely. Personally, I'd rather not see this in the Minimalist project, at least not as a main weapon. I'd much rather have it there in case an FM designer actually wants to use it, but this is Thief! A dagger makes FAR more sense, and in my opinion, is much better then the sword. Besides, killing sprees are so much more fun when you have to work for them. :ebil:
