I would add that when it begins to effect you or, most importantly, others negatively it is time to stop. The addictive type personality fails to recognize that line and crosses it seeking the last vestige of thrill and chasing a ghost of past experience because they failed to realize the true joy of life was in the sharing of all experience with others. Life has never been about you or me. It's about you and me.

And in other news:
Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

I wasn't bogarting, just contemplating opposing forces of energy maaaaaan! Can I help it if lung membranes were designed to allow those energy particles to enter my brain and block the pass to the left response? Learn to enjoy the experience of anticipation grasshopper.

I wont bother recounting my trip but it was awesome and as the effects very gradually became less intense after the peak I was disappointed that I was sobering.
By the way, that 'disappointing' feeling that it didn't last forever can lead to craving. As you already admitted, you have the desire to do it again with a higher dose, to point out the obvious. The way it actually works is by squeezing seratonin (sp?) out of your brain, which would be naturally released in a smaller quantity when you feel happy. It is clinically known that overuse of E can cause depression, which is difficult to recover from even when chemical balances are restored. I would consider E to be a very tricky drug, since it can be habit-forming for some people. Yeah, it's great to know the meaning of euphoria, but overall I highly discourage people from doing it more than once, if at all. Good news is that you can still walk away now and not have to worry about permanent brain damage. Once you're hooked, though, you are SOL.

I wasnt rolling on E, I was tripping on LSD. The disappointing feeling went away as soon as I was sober. I would like to do it again, but I'm not in much of a hurry and I'm in no way addicted. I'll have to admit videogames did seem kinda boring after an experience like that, but that's logical. You cant go skydiving and expect to have as much fun by comparison sitting around clicking at pixels on the screen.

I guess I was thrown off because you said "tabs." In any case, the fact remains that any chemical you plug into your brain causes it to operate outside of its normal parameters. While that in itself may not be too concerning in short term, you end up exposing yourself to more opportunities in the long term, which may result in unforeseen consequences. I am yet to meet a single person with a drug problem who knew from the get-go that they would end up like that. In fact, some of them still don't even know that they *have* a problem. In my case, realizing that I had difficulty in quitting altogether was a warning enough to make me decide to go completely clean. See if you can commit yourself to not doing any drugs for the rest of your life, and if that seems like an unreasonable challenge, then be ready to admit that you may be prone to future problems.

Yeah, soon as you quit posting on internet.
I am well aware of the dangers. I dont think many people are actually naive enough to do drugs and think "nah this isnt going to fuck me up at all." I'm not quite that naive, and I have obviously accepted any possible and probable consequences. You're starting to seap into the "Drugs are bad lol why dont u try reality???" crowd.

Tell you what. Disregard whatever I said, and try everything. So far you've tried the wussy stuff, and I think you're ready for some man drugs now.
Seriously, though. I admit that I made a mistake by throwing my opinion around as though it had some sort of moral weight to it. I confess that I don't know or care enough about you to dress my opinions up as an advice. If anything, the subject itself is of more interest to me than any hope of making an impact on you, so rest assured.
