Can you guys share some experiences/advice on LSD? I've always been really interested in halucinogens but somehow after being introduced to the wonders of alcohol/weed I forgot they existed. But it's 3am and I'm about to fall alseep and it occured to me that I should get around to trying one finally. My housemate has done LSD and DXM a few times and he doesnt buzz like a fridge yet so I guess he's still alright.
dsahesariea res reit ltena lzzzzzzzzzz.
Oh one last thing: Does LSD enhance music in any way? I would imagine so.

choose your friends wisely if you do something like that.
Friend of mine was turned completely vegitarian after being chased round a flat by someone flinging pieces of raw kidney at him whilst he was under the influence of LSD. We rescued him some time later from under the toilet carpet which he had torn up in his efforts to escape

Sure he didn't change into a vegetable
Seriously though, if you value the wellbeing of your brain, avoid hallucinogenics.

It really depends on the potency of what you are trying, we used to do trips every now and again and would always take the trip, then kick it off with a few cones. It was pretty intense, but I was never high enough to not know what I was doing. Had some minor halucinogenic effects, like vibrant colors and pulsating objects, but thats about it. Mainly just laughed and giggled like schoolboys.
I guess if you are the sort off person who can have 'freak outs' when you have too much cannabis, then you probly dont wanna mess around with tripping, cos I could imagine it would be very easy to spiral out of control.

Be absolutely certain you have complete trust in the people with you when you do this. If you do freak out badly and really lose your shit, the last thing you want is some idiot asshole fucking with you because he thinks it's funny. (This pretty much falls in line with ceebs suggestion to choose your friends wisely, but it's worth repeating.)
One other possibly useful suggestion: have patience. Don't take a hit, wait ten minutes and assume it's not working and take another one, then wait ten more minutes and assume it's still not working and then take more. This can lead to your evening being much more interesting than you had intended or could possibly have wanted.

I trust my roommate very much, I know he'll act responsibly if I freak out, which I doubt I will. And no, I've never had any problems with weed (even in a few oshi situations while being high). I'm more interested in: "The drug experience sometimes spurs long-term or even permanent changes in a user's personality and life perspective."

Well, just be careful. It can be both physically and mentally uncomfortable. Don't take too much the first time. But if you get clean stuff, have a good environment with good company and no stress, it can be fun. Music is amazing, and don't forget to check out some tv.... you won't believe how freaky it is whilst tripping. You won't feel like eating but have beer and maybe some pot on hand to mellow out with. I'm not sure about permanent life-altering experiences, although you might notice how strange someone looks and never be able to look at them the same way again. :D
