We all work, we all deal with people, and I'm sure that at one point, we've all had those really weird or annoying customers... Right? Well then. I used to work at a music store and I had this really old man come in. He asked me to use the telephone so i told him that there was a payphone in the other room. I brought him to the payphone and left the room to do my daily work. A few minutes later the cops show up. They told me that someone called 911 and said that he was lost. I told them that I didn't call but there was an old man in the other room. We went in there and the old man was no-where to be found. I then told them that he might have left. (I wasn't really paying much attn: to him at the time). The cops left and I went on to finish what I was doing. A few minutes later I see the old man walking away from the payphone and he went into a storage closet! I went in after him and asked him if he needed any help. He said "God will help me". I tried to ask him what he was doing but he wasn't answering. Few minutes later the cops show up again. They say "We had a 911 call, soimeone saying they were lost". I brought them to the old man and they brought him out to their car and drove off. A little bit later I see the cop car pull up across the street. The cop and the old man get out and and go to the retirment home that i never knew existed.

THEN...

A few hours later I was closing up the shop and I see the old man across the street walking into traffic!!! He then stopped and waited for cars to clear up so he could cross. The cars stopped for him and he crossed the road with ease! (took him about 20 min...) I then see a man and a woman run out of the retirment home as the old man approaches the music shop. They were running to the old man. They asked him what he's doing and he said NO I'm sick of being old! They took him back across the street and all was well.


I thought it to be quite a funny incodent. I'm sure everyone here has had something like that happen while at work...

I get yelled at by these old people about how it's MY FAULT that the insurance company I work for doesn't cover their MOUNTAINS OF PILLS. I get yelled at about how they're going to die if they don't get their medicine. I get people trying to guilt me for things I don't even have access to override even if I wanted to. I get yelled at because they won't be able to afford groceries AND pills this month. My old people dealings are worse than yours, noob.
