I'm currently a level 8 Breton Adventurer trying to make it to the next level with the Imperial Legion. I'm currently a Recruit and I'm trying to get to Spearman. I have all the skills I need but my endurance is too low. Thing is, I play a magic-user mostly who wears light armor and uses blunt weapons. The only skill I can see that trains endurance is medium and heavy armor. Is there any other way to improve my endurance?

Well, Spear is also governed by Endurance. That, Heavy Armor, and Medium Armor are the only skills in the game that you can get multipliers for Endurance from. Perhaps you should pay a visit to the Heavy Armor master trainer with a good amount of Cyro Brandy... Once you drink the Brandy, your endurance is raised, getting rid of those training caps. If you push your Endurance past 100 and your Heavy Armor skill is at 100, you can recieve additional training. This training will not advance your rating in the Heavy Armor skill, but will count towards leveling up, and therefore will give you that x5 multiplier for Endurance.

thanks. So if I'd like to ascend to the higher levels of rank in the Legion, I'm going to have to start wearing and using heavy armor and fighting with spears?
Or is there a shortcut I can use? Could I just show up at Darius' drunk on Cyrodillic brandy every time I'm up for a promotion?

It's worth a shot, though it would be much better in the long term to keep that Endurance high so that you can get better health bonuses when levelling up.
