Aw, it's Scots. He's harmless.
And we love him, regardless of his shennanigans :)
*Scratches the Scots behind the ear*
Good boy, good boy.

I didn't know the Scottish liked to be scratched behind the ears.

I intended no ill will with my Miller/Moore comment, it's more illustrating how non-nerd I am about comics/graphic novels.

If he's drunk/asleep enough, mayhaps
Or if there's love in the air.
But enough about scotsfaggynation.
I do wish some past movie attempts at Moore's g.novels would have worked :(
*Sigh*

Dr. Manhattan has a nice ass. Ozy still looks way too young though.

He's too young and Night Owl isn't chubby enough, but on the whole I'm pretty floored at how perfectly they're nailing the source material.
And agreed, would go gay for that ass.

Graphic novels shouldn't be turned into films. For that matter, why is it that every damned novel, graphic novel, comic book, and, now, game needs to be turned into a film? It's like that bloody awful Stephenie (of course it's spelt with an "e"...like weenie) Meyer novel recently being turned into a film--just what we needed, yet another vampire-themed movie. Not that we needed the book, for that matter. That's some great literature there. I'm so glad she's being well rewarded for writing poorly.
Anyway, the beauty of novels is the image--the mental movie--projected in our minds. That's what makes them worth reading! The same goes for comics, graphic novels, and games; sure there are pretty pictures, but we add in the rest of the action. There is no need to make a film of them--one that is usually not a very good film--for the masses as the material already exists as a creative entity.
So quit fucking up our enjoyment of books, comics, and games, you incredible hacks, with your asinine and poorly produced films.
*leaving with a really loud and embarrassing fart* Smoke that one out!

Blanket statements are fun!

Queue, I don't think you appreciate the differences involved between typing up a book and MAKING A FILM.
Do you think The Godfather could have been made into a film as easily as it was had it not already been a book?
