Well Dethtoll's none too subtle hint to use google has turned up (
http://www.abandonia.com/games/436/Wasteland) THIS.
Will see if it will let me download without any last minute "oh by the way you have to be a premium member to do that" type stuff.

I think that was less of a hint and more his way of expressing that he didn't enjoy it.

I was able to find a copy of Wasteland here:
(
http://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/wasteland/)
You will also want to find a place to download the game's manual since many sections throughout the game will instruct you to refer to paragraph 'x' in the manual for conversation trees. This was primarily done to avoid wasting any precious memory on in game text.

:o
You know, I realized the other day that we pretty much live in Shadowrun times. Big corporations running everything, making our lives difficult. Hacker groups scouring the internet. Otherkin and furries all thinking they're elves and orcs and whatnot.
And you know what?
It's considerably more dorky than we thought it'd be like in the 90's. I'm really disappointed.

It's a bit cyberpunk I guess, but there's a lot less rain, mohawks and random gunfire than I was expecting.
Trenchcoats too.
