I have just noticed that the Fleshworks wiki apparently died from neglect, and I am wondering if anyone actually used it. I'm sure it can be brought back up but I am not sure what value it has because most people probably turn up in the forum asking questions. Right, I have to get off the train now, but I'd like to know if anyone is that bothered.

If you have a look at the (end of the) sticky thread you'll see that there have already been attempts to save the wiki from dying on the server because the official version is somewhat torn apart with lots of holes. If someone could fix it, there'd be probably a couple of new pages as well because a bit of information has been gathered since then. I've used it myself occasionally.

That was a good idea, although wordpress probably isn't ideal for this sort of thing. I don't think the webserver likes MediaWiki at all. I wouldn't mind transferring the whole wiki to my own server (as it's pretty low-bandwidth) if it's easier to keep it running.

Don't forget that there's also this:

Someone should write to DigitalNightfall to fix the fleshwiki problem.

Yeah, I know that. But I thought It would be better to have something with predefined template and all the stuff, in order not to worry about the technical side too much. I had Gears of war Editor Wiki once, it took me a bit to set it up properly.

Dave fixed the database so the wiki is alive again - It's probably in need of some content updates.
