You may or may not have this problem but I was just wrestling with it. I've been experimenting with UTX files to see if T3Ed could import those from UnrealEd (can import those from DXIW demo). The common error message was about virtual memory so I looked around net & found (
http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/win2kmem/) this guide. So I followed that guide like an dumbass then all of a sudden I couldn't save my gamesys! Well, I could save it but the gamesys would be 0 kb. Needless to say I couldn't run the game.
So I looked around the net for more info & found (
http://www.accucadd.com/TechNotes/Cache/WriteBehindCache.htm) this site telling me I should
disable write behind caching. I disabled that on all the drives I could (wouldn't let disable write behind on my usb drive). Now all is well.
So curse me for trying to use preconfigured textures that T3Ed can understand. [MUMBLES] Stupid proprietary formats made with propietary software that's impossible to find.[/MUMBLES]
EDIT: I'm running Win2k with two copies of T3Ed (one clean & one I'm experimenting with). Both installations has the gamesys problem with write behind caching on.
