I just went to check this out. Am Shagar says " She looks kind of mellow".
No one played Underworld? :-p
Mellow Spiders... Underworld homage.

I know Elenkis. Raf told me. Anyway, what does mellow mean?
edwardhuggett on 18/3/2002 at 14:11
I know ... in underworld you get a mellow maggot too.
G - mellow means just chilling out, not bothered, minding your own buisness, calm. (as opposed to aggressive or freindly)

Baby Giant Spider" - please rename this. This is an oxymoron and sounds a bit silly
It is certainly
not an oxymoron. The word "baby" does not dictate any particular size. Blue whale babies, for instance, are quite large compared to a human.

Baby means child right? So if it's the giant spiders child then it should be baby giant spider.

"baby ATXb oard","baby tower" etc.
all mean "small" things. And "giant" means big things. So "baby giant spider" is a "small big spider". Oh yeah! What is the difference to a "giant baby spider"? :-P
Cheers,
Tels

"Baby," when used in reference to a living creature is an indication of maturity level, not size.

Baby does not mean small, it means relatively small. As was pointed out before, a baby whale is NOT small, nor is it meant to be considered small, but compared to a full grown whale it's very small. A baby giant spider is small compared to an adult giant spider, but hardly small; it's still giant compared to a normal spider. So baby giant spider is fine. Giant spider is the species name (obviously the common name), baby just shows it isn't a different species of spider, it's still this "giant spider" species, but the size difference is because it's a baby.
