If you're running Windows 10 build 1511 and your motherboard has a Atheros/Bigfoot Killer LAN port, don't install the mobo manufacturer supplied LAN driver! It will kill your wifi connectivity. Just keep using the generic network port driver supplied with Windows.

Whenever I tried to upgrade Windows 10 to build 1511 (aka the November 2015 update) my wifi would stop working and I'd have to roll back to the RTM build. After doing a fresh install of Windows 10 build 1511 I've finally sourced the problem to these stupid "gamer" LAN drivers (supplied by my mobo manufacturer, Gigabyte)!

Turns out that the Killer software suite is all around shit in general, known for causing problems for several years.
