https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VN_7_pXeuwI/hqdefault.jpgI'm downloading this as we speak so can't speak much on it, but it appears that someone got a hold of a nearly complete version of the Blizzard game "Warcraft Adventures - Lord of The Clans", a 2D point and click style adventure game. then leaked it to the internet. The game was canned by Blizzard despite reaching about 90% completion.
I've always wondered what this game looks like, so am eagerly awaiting having a play :).

Woah, thanks for the heads up. I was a big Warcraft 2 fan and remember being really bummed about this, pretty surprising to suddenly get to play it 20 years later.

Yes. 20 years later.
We're all old.

I read about in a magazine, it seemed interesting back in the day primarily because Blizzard doing something other than an RTS would have been pretty cool.
Funny how some things don't change with time.

Now if we could just get our hands on the cancelled Starcraft Ghost game.

That actually looked pretty great. I remember being really bummed when it was cancelled.

RPS did (
https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/09/12/warcraft-lord-of-the-clans-review/) an article on the leaked version. They basically say that it's clear (after playing it) of why Blizz chose to cancel it, but that it is not a bad game by any means. Just not a Blizzard level (at that point in time) game.
Either way, I don't care. Still going to play it.
Apparently it was developed by the same company that developed the HORRIBLE Zelda games which featured on the Philips CDI. Hard to believe when comparing the art level of those Zelda games to this one.
