Judging only from those two pages he seems to be saying "if you bought this and read it then I just fucked you out of your money". In my case he didn't. He is also going on about an animal farm type "the man be workin you to def" and 1984 "he be making war to take your rights and shut you up yo".
You Europeans really dig that conspiracy shit. To me it is the greatest privilage to work. I don't spend half my effort trying to get out of it and the other slagging so some other poor bastard has to drag my sorry ass. I'll keep an eye out for evil corporate but Neil and Buzz walked on the moon and the main thing destroying my faith is your cynical disbelief in humanity so keep your delusions down with meds mmmkay?

It's not so much a conspiracy, but I reckon that companies should be grateful to their employees - not vice versa. We're already held to ransom on so many accounts, if we spend most of our physical lives in the place of work then they should be fucking grateful.

Millar is a British author, true, but it was published by an American firm. I could explain the basis of the plot but I don't know how far I'd be spoiling the movie by doing so. But 'you Europeans'? I'm sorry, have you SEEN the number of American conspiracy theorists?

(Somewhat OT: Has anyone else here read Millar's Superman: Red Son, and if so, what did you think of it? In any case, it makes sense that a non-American would take that symbol of USAness and turn him into Stalin's favourite. ;))

It's true the American ones came out of the woodwork after 911 with thier "don't do anything about this because capitalism is evil we deserved it and we should be communist fight the powa like Che" but on forums and in print there seems to be less fifth collumn activity. Perhaps it is because there is a less ready market here and they are seen as off thier rocker and taken more as a cautionary tale of worst possible extreme.
On the other hand I did just read UK PC mag forums where congofx seems to be a one man propaganda army with only mild WTF from the other members so that could have been an influence on me.
Spoilers would have no effect on me as someone blatantly telling me they are fucking me out of money is not likely to get mine anyway. What exactly does this author want us to do? Burn down civilization or curve bullets on THEMAN?

Well, not really. Rape is explicitly called out repeatedly throughout the first two issues that I read, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to apply it to a picture of his face when he's "fucking you in the
ass."
