Looks purty good to me. Though I do think of the originals as more, what?, spiky maybe? These look sweet and nice, are they threatening enough? IDK.
Edit: Maybe I'm thinking of the RL eyeball plant? They are really spiky!

Edit: I think the original eye texture is bloodshot and the new one is not and that's the problem for me. The eye being bloodshot I think is important.

alright, i made the eye more like the original

Actually I kinda like the idea of green eyeballs prior to alerting to Garrett and bloodshot after, but that's just me, and wouldn't be a drop-in replacement. The drop-in should be bloodshot. Good call! I may implement the other in my mission where I have eyeball plants.

Boy, that's something I wasn't expecting to see. But sure enough, at the top of the last page of this thread, those eyeballs just peered into my soul, and tore my heart out. Now I can't sleep... :erm:
