Saw (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=391_1178060828) THIS today and kept getting this odd feeling of deja vu. Then it hit me--the narrator sounds A LOT like the same guy who did Garrett in the Thief games. Odds are it is not him, but...dammit, it sure reminded me of the T1-3 cut scenes.

Not even close. This guy has a very slight problem with sibilants, and his tonal structure is quite a lot sharp of Stephen Russell. Timbre's all wrong, even if you accept a certain amount of band distortion due to video compression or whatever.

Actually, it's the Golden Globe nominated actor (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005095/) Justin Kirk of the show "Weeds" narrating an animated segment from the "(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970184/) Operation Homecoming" documentary.

To top things off, this was posted in the random youtube thread just earlier today.

I think the thief connection is intentional. Perhaps some other famous media uses the same visual style for narration, but the voice acting sends it over the top.
