I first heard about this drink from a neighbor of mine that is a fighter pilot for the USMC. He's done 2 (probably more by now...i fell out of contact) tours in Iraq. The Marines there call this drink an "Iraqi Saki". Of course, they have to use Vodka with powdered Gatorade and water. When I first met him, he got me so blasted off these that what he called this drink is all I can remember. I've been drinking it ever since. That was almost 2 years ago. I have no idea if my friend is even still alive, but in honor of all those who are over there and aren't, I think "Iraqi Saki" should be the official name of this drink. A drink that kicks ass for people who kick ass.

Rum/ everclear n' root beer, Orange soda and vodka with whipped cream, Chocolate shakes with rum is great... It's warm and cold at the same time!:D

I suppose I'll be the first to warn, we don't much take kindly to your type in these here parts, always comin in here, rummaging up old threads... People don't like when you go pokin around in our history, some folk might get suspicious...:weird:
But if there is any worth while thread to bring back to life on TTLG, it's gonna be about alcohol! Props for that!:thumb:
But for future reference, some people WILL just hate you no matter what you do, they even hate people they call their friends... It's a 'macho' thing I think... And bringing up old threads is one way to be sure they'll hate you... So is starting sentences with the word 'And', as well as mis-spelling, or bad grammer, OR just about anything else you do.
