Help!! I can't get Mehra Milo to tell me she is being watched and give the code word. How do you do this?

Maybe your trying to go to fast. First get the information from those three sources cosades gave you. Then for the next quest you'll be trying to save Mehra Milo, Cosades tells you the code word. Which if you didn't know is Amaya. Once you have that you'll be going into Mehra Milo's quarters, because now she is in the ministry of truth. A letter there on the drawer explains what to do. But I'll tell ya anyway, grab those levitation potions and two scrolls of divine intervention {get them from the mages guild in Vivec}, then levitate up to the ministry (It's a big rock in the sky, rather hard to miss) Talk to the ordinator near that door, then go inside the door beside her. Sneak in and look for the door to the Ministry of Truth Prison. (If your not a good thief grab some chameleon stuff and go in.) Also if you can't open doors too well then when you open the door you came through, to your right should been another door, Go in there, and grab the key from inside the desk with the ordinator standing near it.
But I must say that you should try to figure these things out first. Work for a couple hours trying - difficult and frustrating yes. But then you feel better knowing that you solved it all on your own. And when you begin a new character the memory of that quest should be rather... imprinted into your mind. So you'll never be able to forget again! :cheeky:

Thanks, but without Milo telling me the codeword, I can't get to the next quest. Cosades won't do anything but tell me to read my instructions. I have revisited all three informants several times, as well as reloaded and talked to them all. As you say, I have spent hours trying and would now appreciate some help.

My best advice would be to just keep retrying and retrying doing this and that... Otherwise I don't know how to help you any further. :p

Hmm.. did you get a copy of "Progress of Truth" for Caius, like Mehra suggested? If not, there's lots of copies of it in the game (at least 4-5); try Jubasha's bookstore in the Foreign Quarter.

There's a copy in the Library in the temple in vivec. Juse check every shelf... it'll be on one of them.

Yes, I got the book. The problem is that you must get Milo to tell you the codeword. This creates a Journal entry. Without that entry (and the others, of course) Cosades doesn't consider the quest done and won't advance you. For some reason, Milo will not tell me about the codeword. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

I'm sorry, Bork, but you're mistaken; Mehra Milo never gives you a code word. Never.
If you have a copy of "Progress of Truth", your problem lies in one of the other two people you need to contact. I'm just guessing now, but I suspect you told the tax man where Addhiranirr was at; if so, you've just shot yourself in the foot. Even if she later tells you, Caius won't accept the info due to the silly way his dialogue works in this case.
Regardless, if you're on the PC you can skip it all like so:

Thanks!! This doesn't agree with other stuff I've seen on this, but who cares. I can now proceed. And since I don't have a save from before I gave up Catman (Woman?), I was up the creek. Too bad you have to lie to advance!!
