1) How do I climb the ladder in the Temple in Vivec?
2) How do I do the fighters guild quest in Vivec where I have to recover the juicedaw ring? I found the guy whom I was supposed to, but he keeps telling me he doesn't have the ring.

Hmmmm...not sure what ladder you are referring to, but to get the ring you need to get Shagramph's disposition up to at least 60 for him to turn it over.

Isn't quite like DeusEx, is it? You don't. You just gotta angle around til the door type dialogue screen pops up & then just hit the space bar. Using the '+' crosshairs may help some but it can be as frustrating as trying to pick up a particular ring fr a floor full of plundered stuffs.
