Not really, NTFS is actually a very good filesystem. WinFS is really an interface layer that sits on top of the raw filesystem and provides more "database-like" functionality to the applications.

I assume most people who use Vista will get it with a new PC, I can't imagine there are that many who actually go out and buy a new version of Windows.
Still, you have more or less described Microsoft's business - charging premium prices for incremental, largely insignificant upgrades under the threat of the dreaded EOL.

I hear Adobe Premier Pro 2.0 doesn't work with Vista confirim/deny. And I bet you're all loving it that a directx 9 card is required to use Windows Movie Maker in Vista. Otherwise it won't work.:devil:
