Brian Eno's Windows 95 sound is still brilliant. They haven't been able to top it yet, in fact, with each new Windows the startup sound has worsened.

I don't remember the 95 sound, but I loved W98 startup sound, perhaps it's the same?
When I had Millennium and XP later, when it was booting I felt I'm gonna watch some cheap soap opera channel. :rolleyes:

Yes, I loved those early Windows sounds. They sounded so optimistic, almost making you forget that you would probably face a forced reboot or bsod again minutes later.
